This concert will be in the back garden of a beautiful private residence in Deakin, with the performance and seating on the decks overlooking the natural design pool. Two sets of original jazz music followed by complimentary afternoon tea and refreshments in the garden. Niels Rosendahl will be featured in the ArtSound FM 92.7 award winning show Friday Night Live for this year's Christmas Eve special. Leading leading a quartet of exceptional local musicians including Eric. C. Ajaye (Freddie Hubbard) on bass, Evan Dorian (recently returned from London) on drums, and Olivia Henderson on piano, the quartet will present two sets featuring new Rosendahl original compositions, and a mixture of Rosendahl arranged, and other well known arrangements of Christmas repertoire in the jazz idiom, infused with influences from Tommy Smith, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon and Sonny Rollins.
